	Safety Photo Beams WHAT: Photo eyes send a beam across the driveway that are picked up by a sensor on the opposite side. The sensor detects interruptions in the beam. WHY: Photo beams are generally used in two places on swing gates: right past where the gate(s) are closed and right past the end of the swing of the gate(s). On slide gates: right next to the gate. 	GTO Shadow Loop Detector WHAT: This is a loop detector that goes in the control box and detects cars above the loop (sold separately) which goes into a paved driveway and detects metal directly above it. WHY: This would work in conjunction with a loop (sold separately) to detect cars in the path of the gate before the gate begins moving.
